Rosa E. Benavides is a proud UCLA alum, first-generation college graduate, and daughter of Mexican immigrants. With over 20 years of public service and leadership experience, she knows what it means to navigate systems without a guidebook.

Through her platform, Speak Up Mujer, Rosa empowers first-gen Latinas to find their voice, grow their confidence, and lead with authenticity—whether in school, at work, or in life. From coaching sessions to public speaking workshops, she creates welcoming spaces where mujeres feel seen, heard, and supported.
